In late 2018, my position was eliminated. I was devastated.

When I started my job search shortly after, God humbled me quickly. I just knew that the old way that I used to do things would get me a new job in like two weeks. Boy was I wrong! After 10 months, I was still out of work and my severance was running low. I had a mortgage to pay and a son to take care of.

What was I going to do? Take Action!?

I had to really sit back and listen & get to work! What I thought I was meant to do wasn't what God wanted for me. All I had to do was get out of my own way by surrendering control to what | thought was right and align myself with what was truly right for me.

By the end of that 10th month, I received TWO job offers. 3 weeks later, I was starting in my 6 figure position. Did I mention this was also a SIGNIFICANT increase from my last role?

I finally felt aligned in my career. I wasn't stressed, I had time for my family, and I was able to do more things that I loved to do as well. I was living life on my own terms for once in my life and I loved it!
